A Kenyan Fairytale
Co-created with Amnesty International Kenya. The Sengwer community of Embobut Forest has long intertwined their home and cultural identity with the forest. However, motivated by the profit made from urban development and conservation efforts, the Kenyan government has been forcefully and violently evicting the Sengwer from their ancestral territory. Since 2014, there have been 1031 houses burnings by the Kenyan Forest Service.
